When you visit a website and log into an account, the IronKey Password Manager asks if you would like for it to store and remember that password for you.
If you choose to save this password, it is stored in the encrypted Password Manager database, which is doubly encrypted:
- First, it is encrypted by the Password Manager software with AES encryption using a hash of your password.
- Second, it is encrypted with IronKey hardware encryption when the database is stored onto the device.
