Key things to know about your IronKey
It’s encrypted-always.
The ironkey Cryptochip encrypts all your dana with military-grade AES encryption. It cannot be turned off or accidentally disabled.

Only you can unlock your ironKey and access your files. Don’t share your password with anyone-keep it a secret.
It self-destructs.
Don’t forget your password. After 10 failed password attempts your ironKey will permanently self-destruct. Back up your password to my.ironkey.com just to be safe.
It comes with security software.
You cun run Firefox, IronKey’s Password manager, and IronKey’s Secure Backup client from your IronKey, regardless of which PC you are on (Windows XP & Vista only).
It comes with security services.
After you activate your IronKey, you can securely update its software and firmware, back up your encrypted paswords online, and surf the Web safely and privately with IronKey’s Secure Sessions Service.
If you lose it, no one is getting your data.
Besides the fact that it is hardware encrypted and filled solid with an epoxy-based potting compound, your IronKey will initiate a self-destruct sequence if it detects a physical attack.
If you lose it, you can restore your data to a new IronKey.
Back up your data with the included Secure Backup software. It allows you to restore your encrypted data to a new Ironkey if your IronKey is ever lost or stolen.
